Interactive Whiteboards VS Interactive Screens

We know that choosing the right technology for your space can be confusing. We aim to help this decision process by breaking down the differences between the two major presentation technologies for you.

Interactive Whiteboard

Interactive Whiteboards are fairly easy to use, however they are also quite limited. They don’t have many points of touch rendering them as a less collaborative option. They also require frequent calibration which takes time out of lessons and/or meetings.

Interactive Screen

Interactive Screens are both intuitive and easy to use. They have an increased amount of touch points making them more collaborative and they also require no calibration – they are ‘plug and play’.

Interactive Whiteboard

Interactive Whiteboards offer outdated, lower resolutions. They are also easily affected by natural light, which easily dulls the projected image. Interactive whiteboards are also subject to degradation and require ongoing servicing to maintain their quality.

Interactive Screen

Almost all Interactive Screens now come with 4K resolution as standard. The HDi screen has virtually no air gap increasing its usable viewing angle. The screens also perform much better under natural light and are able to maintain their image brightness.

Interactive Whiteboard

An Interactive Whiteboard has a lower upfront cost, however the ongoing costs are much more significant. This is due to the ongoing servicing and maintenance that interactive whiteboards/projectors require.

Interactive Screen

Interactive Screens demand a larger upfront cost, however, the ongoing cost is next to nothing. The HDi screen future proofs your environment with the latest technology.

Interactive Whiteboard

Interactive Whiteboards are looking increasingly old and outdated.

Interactive Screen

The HDi slim IR technology screen gives a sleek and modern design.
